Event Sales Executive

As Event Sales Executive you will report to the Company’s Chief Event Marketing Officer.

Job Overview:
We are looking for an organized, dedicated and ambitious Event Sales Executive to join our event planning Company based in Puerto Rico and servicing the Caribbean. The Event Sales Executive is responsible for raising money through the sale of sponsorships and exhibit opportunities at conferences, trade shows and other events by targeting various companies, Government agencies and organizations. The Executive creates sponsorship and exhibitor proposals according to client specifications or Event potential; also, attends weekly company meetings, sales update meetings and conference planning meetings as required.

What would we expect from you?

Also, confidentiality is of utmost importance, since you will be handling our clients’ proprietary and time-sensitive information.
Responsibilities:

Represent our company and partners events, having a deep and comprehensive understanding of measurable objectives, and following with strategic research to identify how our events meet clients marketing or sales goals.

Identify appropriate prospects, set meetings, offer presentations (in-person & virtually), make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all event sponsorships categories offered.

Use business directories and leads from current clients to identify potential customers.

Establish relationships with new customers and maintain and grow relationships with existing ones.

Assist in preparing promotional material and sponsorship packages presentations to advertise sales opportunities.

Maintain knowledge of events timelines and sponsorship deadlines.

Prepare event participation proposals according with client’s budget or needs.

Strive to improve customer satisfaction through excellent customer service.

Keep a high level of knowledge about existing events and participation opportunities.

Follow up on customer proposals as necessary to close the sale.

Invoice sponsors and exhibitors once agreements have been reached

Anticipate the needs of clients and address them accordingly to offer CUBE additional services.

Prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals, and other documentation as required for executive presentations.

Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals through the successful implementation of sales strategies and tactics.
Qualifications for Sales Agent:

2+ years of experience in sales

​Hours: Event Sales Executive is a high-pressure work environment, usually accompanied by long hours, including, occasionally, nights, holidays and or weekends as needed.
This job is an office-based position with an air conditioned environment. Occasional remote work may be necessary and transportation will be needed for some tasks. Must be able to sit or work at event sites for long hours, speak frequently and lift up to 20-30 pounds occasionally.
